On 2 and 3 December 2025, the German government’s expert conference “Research and Technology for Autonomous Driving” took place at Harnack House in Berlin. As part of the event, the Mobility 4.0 Ecosystem initiative was presented to a selected specialist audience. In the plenary presentation of the initiative, particular focus was placed on the action field structure developed to date. These action fields form a central component of the initiative’s future work and are characterized by a broad approach that goes beyond the concerns of public transport alone. The conference also provided an excellent opportunity to engage in numerous discussions with experts from academia, industry, and politics. Further important industry partners were gained for the initiative in the process. We look back on a successful event and look forward to incorporating the insights gained into the future work of Mobility 4.0 Ecosystem.
